\"\"<\/a>Andrew Wannigman has been praised for his \u201cbeautiful singing\u201d and \u201cstrong stage presence\u201d by the Boston Musical Intelligencer and Cedar Rapids Gazette. Already having performed numerous roles in his young career, he was most recently seen as Dandini in Cenerentola with Op\u00e9ra Louisiane, Dr. Malatesta in Don Pasquale at the University of Oklahoma, and Mr. Gobineau and Pausanias in a double bill of Menotti\u2019s The Medium and Chabrier\u2019s An Incomplete Education with Oklahoma City\u2019s new opera company, Painted Sky Opera. In 2016, Mr. Wannigman has also performed the title role in Eugene Onegin at the University of Oklahoma, Alvaro in Florencia en el Amazonas with Tulsa Opera and Gandalf in The Hobbit with Tulsa Youth Opera. Recently, he also performed the roles of the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance with Cimarron Opera, Escamillo in Carmen, Baritone in The Wound-Dresser by John Adams and the Father in Ragtime at the OU where he is completing his doctoral studies with renowned baritone Kim Josephson.\u00a0 He previously has been seen as Sciarrone in Tosca with Mill City Summer Opera where he also covered the role of Angelotti, Maximilian in Candide with Skylark Opera, and Morales in Carmen with Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre. Other operatic roles include: Figaro Il barbiere di Siviglia, Count Almaviva Le nozze di Figaro, Papageno The Magic Flute, Dr. Malatesta Don Pasquale, John Buchanan, Jr. Summer & Smoke, and Ford The Merry Wives of Windsor.\u00a0 Mr. Wannigman has worked with many companies throughout the United States as both a young artist and principle artist since graduating with his master\u2019s degree from New England Conservatory in 2009. These companies include Des Moines Metro Opera, Central City Opera, Opera New Jersey, Opera North, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, American Lyric Theater, Mill City Summer Opera and Boston Opera Collaborative.\u00a0 An avid recitalist and concert performer, he was most recently seen as the baritone soloist in Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs with Westminster Presbyterian Church in April. Last year, he sang the Saint-Sa\u00ebns\u2019 Christmas Oratorio as well as the baritone soloist in The Seven Last Words of Christ by Th\u00e9odore Dubois both with Westminster Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City. Other concert works include Handel\u2019s Messiah, Bach\u2019s St. Matthew Passion, Beethoven\u2019s Mass in C, and Mozart\u2019s Requiem.<\/span><\/p>\n
