Andrew Darling<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Baritone Andrew Darling is from Dallas, Texas.\u00a0 He recently covered the role of Escamillo<\/em> in CARMEN with Opera Santa Barbara.<\/span><\/p>\n

In summer of 2008 he made his debut at the Santa Fe Opera as Arthur Jones<\/em> in BILLY BUDD and participated in the Apprentice program there as well.\u00a0 He was cast as Enrico Ashton <\/em>from LUCIA di LAMMERMOOR in the scenes program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Darling debuted at the Palm Beach Opera in 2007 as Haly <\/em>in L\u2019ITALIANA in ALGERI and Yamadori <\/em>in MADAMA BUTTERFLY and covered the roles of Athanael <\/em>in THAIS and Silvio<\/em> in PAGLIACCI as a resident artist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Darling obtained his bachelor\u2019s degree from Indiana University and studies with the distinguished baritone Brian Schexnayder as well as soprano Virginia Zeani.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
