Recipient of the Monica & Roger McNeill Award<\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>Lyric Coloratura Soprano HeeWoo Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea.<\/span>
\nShe made New York debut at Hungarian Consulate as a 1st place winner of the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition.<\/span>\u00a0 At that competition she received 1st place and special performance prize with judge\u2019s comment “perfect”.<\/span>
\nShe has participated in master classes with\u00a0 Monika Burgener in Germany,\u00a0 Gianni Raimondi in Italy and Peter Mark in U.S.<\/span>
\nIn Italy, HeeWoo Kim entered L\u2018instituto di Donizetti\u2019 at the top of her class and received three diplomas from Conservatory of Luca Marenzio, Accademia of Tadini and Accademia of Donizetti.<\/span>
\nDuring her studies she was engaged to sing numerous concerts around Milan and Bergamo.<\/span>
\nWith her pure voice and bel canto technique, she has enjoyed performing Gilda in Verd\u2019s Rigoletto, Musetta in Puccini\u2019s La Boheme, Adina in Donizetti\u2019s L\u2019elisir D\u2019amor and Violetta in Verdi\u2019s La Traviata.<\/span>
\nHeeWoo Kim\u2019s work as a concert and recital soloist has been widely recognized in performing such works as Mozart\u2019s Exultate, Jubilate, Gounod\u2019s Messe Solennelle Santa Cecilia, Mozart\u2019s Missa Brevis in C,K. 259, Coronation Mass in C,K. 317, Saint Saens\u2019s Oratorio de Noel, Handel\u2019s Messiah, Mendelssohn\u2019s Elijah and Haydn\u2019s The Creation.<\/span><\/p>\n
