Jessica Julin<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Originally from Danville, California, Ms. Julin is the recent recipient of 1st place at the Giargiari Bel Canto Competition as well as the J.P. Parkinson Competition, both in Philadelphia, PA.\u00a0 A Resident Artist with the Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) in Philadelphia.\u00a0 Her recent performances have included\u00a0Eudossia\u00a0in LA FIAMMA with the Academy of Vocal Arts as well as her debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra, singing\u00a0Magdelene\u00a0in DIE MEISTERSINGER von N\u00dcRNBERG under the baton of Rafael Fr\u00fcbeck de Burgos.<\/span><\/p>\n

This summer, Ms. Julin made her European Debut as Giorgetta\u00a0in IL TABARRO in Piobbico, Italy.\u00a0 While at AVA,\u00a0 she\u00a0 also\u00a0 performed\u00a0 Amelia\u00a0 in\u00a0 UN\u00a0 BALLO\u00a0 in MASCHERA, the title role in VANESSA,\u00a0Agatha\u00a0in DER FREISCH\u00dcTZ as well as\u00a0Freia in DAS RHEINGOLD.\u00a0 She has also been seen as\u00a0Fiordiligi\u00a0in COS\u00cc FAN TUTTE in Chautauqua Institution\u2019s production.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2009, Ms. Julin was a finalist in the Met Opera National Auditions and was a prize winner of the Gerda Lissner Competition in NYC.<\/span><\/p>\n
