Janice Fehlauer

Canadian   pianist   Janice   Fehlauer holds   degrees  in  music  from  the University  of  British Columbia and the University of  North  Texas.  She was  the  gold  medalist  at  the Nena Wideman International Piano Competition,  and  the  winner of the University of  North Texas Concerto Competition.  Recent  appearances  as  piano soloist in the USA  include performances with the symphony orchestras of  North Florida, Meridian, Mississippi, Lewisville Lake, and  UNT,  and  in  Canada  with  the  symphonies  of  the Fraser  Valley  and  Chilliwack  Metropolitan.  Janice  has also performed  solo  recitals  in  Washington, D.C. and in Chicago  as   well   as   in   Louisiana,  Texas, and  British Columbia.  She has  served  as a repetiteur and assistant to the  chorus  master   for   The  Dallas  Opera,  Fort  Worth Opera, UNT  Opera, the Houston Symphony Chorus,  and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Austria. As a vocal   collaborator,  she   recently  played   for  the  debut performance   of  Concurrence  Recital  Artists  in Boston. Janice  recently earned her doctoral degree at the University of Houston.
